Employee Wellness Program invites faculty, staff, retirees to walk off weight

9:30 a.m., Feb. 7, 2013--The University of Delaware Office of Human Resources’ Employee Wellness Program invites faculty, staff and retirees to register now for this year’s spring wellness campaign, “Walk this Weigh.”

The eight-week challenge runs from March 11-May 5 and will focus on walking and weight management with an optional team competition.

Women's Caucus

The University of Delaware Women's Caucus has announced its spring general meeting and is seeking candidates for its governing board.

“Research is telling us that our health habits rub off on each other,” says a HealthyU program representative. The goal is to engage the energy of team support by offering weekly team competitions and special incentives for groups of 10 or more employees in each building. 

All participants in the program will receive a step counting pedometer and an activity log. The program costs 30 Wellness Dollars.
