8:29 a.m., Feb. 4, 2013--The University Student Centers’ annual international flag display, initiated in 2009, has been updated for 2013.

The display illustrates the robust diversity of the campus community and supports the University of Delaware’s commitment to Global Citizenship.

Global Stories

Marine biodiversity

This Winter Session, 23 UD students traveled to New Zealand where they discovered the abundant marine organisms, culture and sights the southwestern Pacific nation has to offer.

Global living

International House provides an on-campus living-learning community focused on intercultural dialogue and exchange. The deadline for housing registration is Feb. 28.

According to the Registrar’s Office, UD currently welcomes more than 1,800 international students from 100 countries to campus.

A full list of the flags on display to honor these individuals in Trabant University Center and Perkins Student Center can be found at the USC flag website.

The USC currently sponsors 37 multicultural student organizations on campus, including 12 culturally based fraternities and sororities. These groups can be found online at the StUDent Central portal.
