Navy Commodores section featured at UD's Trombone Day Festival
11:27 a.m., Feb. 11, 2013--The University of Delaware will hold its third annual Trombone Day Festival on Saturday, Feb. 16, with a concert at 11:30 a.m. in the Gore Recital Hall of the Roselle Center for the Arts.
The festival brings national and international performing artists to campus for master classes, performances and festival choirs.

The campus community is invited to attend the inaugural Adelante: Latino-Hispanic Graduation Celebration, sponsored by UD's Center for Black Culture, at 4 p.m., Friday, May 24.
This year’s festival features the U.S. Navy Commodores trombone section and a concert appearance by Scott Hartman, noted trombone soloist and member of the faculty in the Yale University School of Music.
Tickets are $12 for adults, $8 for senior adults and $3 for students. Tickets will be available at the door, by cash or check only.
