University announces new Student Life Advancing Professionals group
4:06 p.m., Feb. 25, 2013--For new professionals working with students on campus and interested in continuing their growth both professionally and personally, the University of Delaware's Division of Student Life has created a group called Student Life Advancing Professionals (SLAP).
The mission of the group is to provide continual and strategic opportunities for professionals at the University, and it aims to engage in learning, networking and personal development for advancing professionals.

SLAP will be engaged through lunchtime discussions and speakers on topics of interest to advancing professionals in higher education. Ideal candidates to join the group have graduated from a master's program in student personnel, higher education administration or a related area within the past five years, have career goals to advance in student affairs field, and are committed to helping students be successful.
