UD Police will constantly update the unit’s Twitter account with live tweets, pictures and videos as officers patrol campus.

Before holding its first “tweet-along” last fall, a UD Police representative said the idea was inspired by the Arlington (Texas) Police Department, which holds a live “tweet-along” for more than 3,000 of its Twitter followers every other week.
