TEXT SIZE

2:32 p.m., Feb. 7, 2013--The University of Delaware Police will hold a virtual ride-along – a “tweet-along” -- via its Twitter account on Friday night, Feb. 8.

The live “tweet-along” will begin at 10 p.m. and continue until 2 a.m.

FYI Stories

Two-factor authentication

Since two-factor authentication provides more security than a simple password, UD IT recommends that it be used whenever it's offered.

Faculty climate survey

The NSF ADVANCE grant team at UD has shared the results of a faculty climate survey on topics including promotion and tenure, evaluation, merit, workload, family-friendly policies, mentoring, and career satisfaction.

UD Police will constantly update the unit’s Twitter account with live tweets, pictures and videos as officers patrol campus.

Before holding its first “tweet-along” last fall, a UD Police representative said the idea was inspired by the Arlington (Texas) Police Department, which holds a live “tweet-along” for more than 3,000 of its Twitter followers every other week.
