UD Police 'tweet-along'
University Police invite community to Feb. 8 'tweet-along'
2:32 p.m., Feb. 7, 2013--The University of Delaware Police will hold a virtual ride-along – a “tweet-along” -- via its Twitter account on Friday night, Feb. 8.
The live “tweet-along” will begin at 10 p.m. and continue until 2 a.m.

Telephone Services advises that the deployment of new Voice over Internet Protocol telephones is proceeding and will continue campuswide through July.
UD Police will constantly update the unit’s Twitter account with live tweets, pictures and videos as officers patrol campus.
Before holding its first “tweet-along” last fall, a UD Police representative said the idea was inspired by the Arlington (Texas) Police Department, which holds a live “tweet-along” for more than 3,000 of its Twitter followers every other week.
