March 6, April 24: Distinguished lecturers

Electrical and Computer Engineering announces spring lecture series


2:04 p.m., Feb. 28, 2013--The University of Delaware’s Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering has announced invited speakers for its spring lecture series. 

Lectures will take place Wednesdays, March 6 and April 24, at 3:30 p.m. in the Gore Recital Hall of the Roselle Center for the Arts. A reception will immediately follow the presentations in the lobby.

Oct. 5: 'ReSoundings' talk

Curator Julie L. McGee will discuss the "ReSoundings" exhibition from 12:15-1 p.m., Monday, Oct. 5, at the Mechanical Hall Gallery.

Oct. 5: Excellence in Diversity

Robert Sellers of the University of Michigan will deliver the 2015 Lecture on Excellence in Diversity at 5 p.m., Monday, Oct. 5, in 111 Memorial Hall.

March 6: Fred Kitson, executive vice president, DTS, Inc., “The Technology in a Good Experience Should be Heard and Not Seen.”

April 24: Tom Koch, dean of the College of Optical Sciences, University of Arizona, “Photonic Integrated circuits: Past, Present and Future.”
