Students can enter photos by including them in a Facebook message to the Blue Hen Says Facebook page starting Monday, Feb. 4, and continuing through noon, Monday, Feb. 11.

STEM for the holidays

Melissa Jurist, coordinator of K-12 education in the College of Engineering at the University of Delaware, offers suggestions to get kids excited about science, technology, engineering and math.

Fifteen submissions, decided upon by social media interns in the Office of Communications and Marketing, will then be chosen as finalists and posted to the Blue Hen Says Facebook page.

The photo that receives the most “likes” by noon, Monday, Feb. 18, will win and serve as the page’s cover photo for the rest of the semester.

The student who takes and submits the winning photo will also win a gift card to the University’s Barnes and Noble bookstore.
