Dec. 19: 'Yuletide at Winterthur'

Graduate Student Government, Winterthur offer special event


1:56 p.m., Dec. 12, 2012--The University of Delaware Graduate Student Government and Winterthur are sponsoring a University night at the museum during “Yuletide at Winterthur.”

The UD event will be held from 4-7 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 19.

Dec. 1: 'Alice' manuscript

A talk by August A. Imholtz Jr. marking the 150th anniversary of "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland" will be held at 4:30 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 1, in the Class of 1941 Lecture Room in the Morris Library on the University of Delaware campus in Newark.

Dec. 2: UD Night at Winterthur

University of Delaware students, faculty and staff are invited to join in the winter festivities at UD Night at Yuletide at Winterthur from 4:30-8:30 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 2.

The event is open to anyone affiliated with the University, and there will be a special admission rate of $10 per ticket for UD students, faculty, staff and immediate family members.

Families with young children are encouraged to attend this family-friendly event. Cost is $5 for children ages 2-11 and free for children under 2.

To reserve a ticket, call 302-888-4600, ext. 7029, and state your UD affiliation. Payment for reserved tickets will be taken at the door.

The deadline for registration is Tuesday, Dec. 18. Space is limited.
