Final push
UD's United Way campaign makes final push as goal within reach
2:05 p.m., Dec. 4, 2012--The University of Delaware’s United Way campaign, which officially began on Oct. 8, will remain open as co-chairs Nancy Brickhouse, interim provost, and Jennifer (J.J.) Davis, vice president for finance and administration, said they hope that one last push will help the campaign meet its goal of $185,000.
“The University community has always been very generous in supporting the United Way of Delaware, and we want to make this an extraordinary year for our campaign given the difficulties from the recent hurricane, which have affected many of our neighbors in need,” Brickhouse and Davis said.

"Our goal is $185,000, and as of this morning, we have raised over $175,000," said Michele Jones, UD United Way campaign coordinator. "Every pledge counts, not only to help us reach our goal but more importantly to help our neighbors in need. Any donation large or small is important and will be appreciated. If you haven't already done so, please make your pledge today."
Employees can access the e-pledge system, as it will remain open. For those who would like to contribute and cannot locate the link that was sent by United Way, or for those who would prefer to fill out a paper pledge form, can send an email to Jones at mjones@udel.edu.
