Through Dec. 6: Toy drive

Alpha Omega Epsilon sponsors Hurricane Sandy toy drive


1:19 p.m., Dec. 3, 2012--The University of Delaware chapter of Alpha Omega Epsilon is sponsoring a toy drive through Thursday, Dec. 6, to benefit children who have been impacted by Hurricane Sandy.

New and unwrapped toys for boys and girls will be accepted in the Office of Academic Advisement, Student Development and Support, 141 DuPont Hall.

Sharon Fitzgerald of University Museums at the University of Delaware will present a curator's talk on the Mineralogical Museum exhibition featuring specimens from the Irenee du Pont collection from 5-7 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 14.

Drop-off hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.

Once the toys have been collected, Alpha Omega Epsilon members will take them to Toys for Tots donation sites in their home towns.
