University of Delaware Library announces availability of streaming video collection
4:44 p.m., Aug. 30, 2012--The University of Delaware Library has announced the availability of VAST: Academic Video Online, a new streaming video collection database produced by Alexander Street Press.
VAST and other electronic resources are accessible from the library database page or directly from this website.

VAST: Academic Video Online brings together over 13,000 streaming video titles in a wide range of disciplines.
By 2013, VAST expects to have over 20,000 films available for viewing. The database includes thousands of award-winning films from dozens of producers and distributors.

VAST complements two other streaming video resources from Alexander Street Press to which the University Library also provides access: American History in Video, with more than 4,000 streaming videos, and Theatre in Video, with more than 360 streaming video performances.
