UD faculty and student engagement focus of IT events

10:09 a.m., Aug. 8, 2012--There is still time for University of Delaware faculty to register for the i>clicker “Back to School Sail” event on Tuesday, Aug. 21.

Faculty who plan to use i>clickers in their classes this fall, or who just want to see what others are doing to increase classroom interaction, might have interest in the three-hour program.

Joshua Neunuebel, assistant professor of psychological and brain sciences, will present at the June 8 High Performance Computing Symposium.

Calling all 2016 grads

UD's Photographic Services department is seeking graduates wearing their caps and gowns for a short photography session at 4 p.m., Wednesday, May 25, on the South Green.

Proven engagement strategies, luncheon round-table discussions, latest adoption figures, teaching technology experts, and door prizes highlight the event. See complete details at the IT Academic Technology Services (IT-ATS) website.

Faculty members who are unavailable for the Aug. 21 event but who are interested in audience response systems can tune in to the LearnIT Express session on clickers scheduled at noon, Friday, Aug. 10.
