UD faculty and student engagement focus of IT events
10:09 a.m., Aug. 8, 2012--There is still time for University of Delaware faculty to register for the i>clicker “Back to School Sail” event on Tuesday, Aug. 21.
Faculty who plan to use i>clickers in their classes this fall, or who just want to see what others are doing to increase classroom interaction, might have interest in the three-hour program.
Proven engagement strategies, luncheon round-table discussions, latest adoption figures, teaching technology experts, and door prizes highlight the event. See complete details at the IT Academic Technology Services (IT-ATS) website.
Faculty members who are unavailable for the Aug. 21 event but who are interested in audience response systems can tune in to the LearnIT Express session on clickers scheduled at noon, Friday, Aug. 10.
Those who have questions about i>clickers or other teaching technologies are encouraged to contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
Also, save the dates for these upcoming technology events:
- IT Tech Fair, Oct. 18; and
- Student Engagement Mini-conference, Dec. 7.
Watch for more information about these events on UDaily and the IT-ATS website.
