The SMA program provides real world experience in areas such as marketing, communication, event planning and video production, in addition to the opportunity to add social media experience to one’s resume.
For the first time, this year the SMA program will include Social Media Leader (SML) positions. SMLs will be upperclassmen who want to and are able to take on a multimedia, marketing or events-planning role. All students applying for an SML position will be required to submit a work sample with their application.
SML applications are currently being accepted. Interested graduate and undergraduate students should complete the online application no later than midnight on Tuesday, Aug. 14.
