Rape Aggression Defense
University Public Safety offers Rape Aggression Defense classes this fall
1:46 p.m., Aug. 27, 2012--University of Delaware Public Safety is offering Rape Aggression Defense (RAD) self-defense classes for University-affiliated women, with basic classes set to begin in September and an advanced class scheduled to begin in October.
Basic RAD provides 15 hours of instruction, and those who register must attend all classes. Classes will meet from 5:30-8:30 p.m. at a site to be announced:

• Wednesdays -- Sept. 19 and 26, and Oct. 3, 10 and 17.
• Tuesdays -- Oct. 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30.
Advanced RAD also provides 15 hours of instruction. A prerequisite is that participants have taken the Basic RAD course. Advanced RAD will meet from 5:30-8:30 p.m. at a site to be announced:
• Mondays -- Oct. 22 and 29, and Nov. 5, 12 and 19.
The fee for all RAD courses is $25.
