UD announces international welcome reception on Thursday
11:55 a.m., Aug. 28, 2012--An international reception will be held from 5-6 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 30, in 209-211 Trabant University Center to welcome those from other countries to the University of Delaware campus community.
The reception is being offered by the International Caucus, Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Caucus, the Office of Equity and Inclusion, the Office of International Students and Scholars, and the English Language Institute.

Fulbright awards
Three University of Delaware students and an alumna have received word this spring that they will travel abroad as part of the newest class of Fulbright Student Program award winners.
Peace Corps plans
Two University of Delaware students, John McCarron and Bridgette Spritz, have been selected as Peace Corps volunteers and will serve in Ghana and Rwanda.
It will provide an opportunity to meet individuals of international heritage, background and interests in a relaxed atmosphere.
The reception is open to all interested students, faculty and staff to kick off the new academic year and welcome new members to the UD campus.
