UD seniors invited to submit nominations for Homecoming king and queen

8:51 a.m., Aug. 28, 2012--Seniors at the University of Delaware are invited to submit nominations for the 2012 Homecoming Court.

UD’s Office of Alumni Relations and the Student Homecoming Committee are looking for two seniors who embrace UD spirit and embody the UD brand.

Sea Grant update

The Delaware Sea Grant College Program highlights the theme "Science Serving the Delaware Coast" in the latest Reporter annual report.

New Student Orientation

UD will launch its monthlong New Student Orientation on Tuesday, June 18.

Students who know of someone they believe deserves the title of Homecoming king or queen can visit the Homecoming Court website for the full application, guidelines and requirements. 

Deadline for applications, video and signatures is Friday, Sept. 21, so those who plan to nominate a candidate should do so promptly.

The Homecoming king and queen will be announced at the Homecoming football game on Saturday, Oct. 20.

Office of Alumni Relations

The Office of Alumni Relations is the chief liaison between the University and the worldwide alumni body of more than 151,000 living alumni represented by the UD Alumni Association. Alumni Relations coordinates major events such as Alumni Weekend, Homecoming and prestigious awards. The office also manages all volunteers and events for the regional alumni clubs across the country and is charged with creating new and exciting programs while maintaining current traditions.
