Chemical waste collection
Campus chemical waste collection has been changed to Thursdays
2:24 p.m., Aug. 15, 2012--The University of Delaware’s Department of Environmental Health and Safety has announced that, effective immediately, chemical waste will be collected from University laboratories on Thursdays instead of Tuesdays.
A representative said the change is necessary to accommodate renovations to UD’s hazardous waste management facility.

Survey results
The University of Delaware Library participated in the LibQUAL+ Survey this spring, and results are now available.
When completed in spring 2013, the facility will be able to more efficiently process the waste materials generated by UD’s increasing research activities.
Collection of biological waste will continue to be on Mondays.
