UDress Magazine announces inaugural Spring Launch event

2:28 p.m., April 18, 2013--UDress Magazine will hold its inaugural Spring Launch event on Thursday, April 25, at Timothy’s of Newark, located at 100 Creek View Rd.

Admission to the Spring Launch, which will run from 5-7 p.m., is free.

June 5: Blue Hen 5K

University of Delaware graduates planning to attend Alumni Weekend are encouraged to register for the annual Blue Hen 5K walk and run, which will be held Sunday morning, June 5.

June 6-9: Food and culture series

The 20th annual June Lecture Series at the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at UD in Wilmington will be held June 6-9. Titled 'June a la Carte,' this year's program focuses on great political documents, feminism, world politics and a Newark cuisine sampler.

• Through Sept. 16: Women of color in academia

The event will serve to release the “Renaissance” issue of UDress, which is the 18th edition of the magazine. It contains over 50 full- color pages. 

The evening will include a Fashion Presentation showcasing more than 20 looks from Clothes in the Past Lane, Moxie, NV Boutique, South Moon Under, SkiBum and Switch.

Pizza by Elizabeth, the UD Career Services Center and eff.y.bee will have promotional tables available.
