Resident Student Association announces annual Resapalooza on North Green

8:30 a.m., April 1, 2013--The University of Delaware Resident Student Association has announced that the annual Resapalooza festival will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, April 12, on the North Green.

The event will feature musical performances by JQ and the band Kingsfoil, which includes actor Frankie Muniz, best known for the television show Malcolm in the Middle.

June 5: Blue Hen 5K

University of Delaware graduates planning to attend Alumni Weekend are encouraged to register for the annual Blue Hen 5K walk and run, which will be held Sunday morning, June 5.

June 6-9: Food and culture series

The 20th annual June Lecture Series at the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at UD in Wilmington will be held June 6-9. Titled 'June a la Carte,' this year's program focuses on great political documents, feminism, world politics and a Newark cuisine sampler.

Lead singer Jordan Davis said the band enjoys connecting with an audience. “When they feel the beat or they all start singing the songs, there is just so much excitement,” he said. “They feed off of our excitement to be there and we feed off of their excitement, and there is just a great energy. It’s an amazing feeling.”

In addition to the music, there will be inflatables, free food (including pizza, popcorn, cotton candy, and snow cones), free T-shirts, games, a raffle and service initiatives.

Resapalooza is open to all UD students.
