HR Briefings Just for You information series announced

12:10 p.m., April 12, 2013--University of Delaware Human Resources’ Employee Education and Development has announced a new information series titled HR Briefings Just for You.

Dedicated to various human resource topics, these one-hour sessions will be facilitated by HR staff experts.

Winter wellness

The Institute for Global Studies invites UD faculty, staff, retires and their families to register for the second annual Puerto Rico Wellness Retreat to be held Feb. 3-7, 2016.

Winter Session

UD's Office of the Provost and Division of Student Life invite proposals for innovative projects that will enhance the Winter Session experience.

Areas of focus include labor relations, benefits, compensation and classification, records management, payroll and recruitment.

The individual sessions will provide information and engagement for those individuals who perform human resource functions within the University.

Upcoming topics include retirement asset allocation and diversification, an overview of benefits, unemployment and workers compensation, educational benefits and workforce planning.

The series will provide employees with knowledge of key HR functions that can help guide strategic decisions.

The next session, “Strategies to Hire Right the First Time,” is scheduled for Tuesday, April 23. The briefing is for those who are involved in the hiring process at UD. To register, click on the link or visit the EED website.
