While recruiting for war, two officers -- the womanizing Plume and the cowardly Brazen -- sexually and socially exploit the town of Shrewsbury, England, where women are in a plethora of relationship complications.
This comedy of manners filled with double-dealing, cross-dressing and competition for affection comments on war life and is right for audiences who love drama.
