Bailey, a DuPont Engineering Fellow, and several other DuPont employees will be on the University of Delaware campus Thursday, May 2, to talk about DuPont sustainability efforts.

Events Stories

Dec. 1: Inspirational webinar

A compelling webinar featuring University of Delaware alumnus David Mays, a member of the Class of 2002, will be offered at noon, Monday, Dec. 1.

Dec. 2: Meet with the provost

UD students, faculty and staff are invited to meet with Provost Domenico Grasso in an open-format, town hall meeting Dec. 2.

“DuPont’s mission is sustainable growth,” Bailey said, “which we define as increasing shareholder and societal value while decreasing the footprint of our operations.”

“For students who want a career that includes sustainable practices, this event will be a good opportunity to see the initiatives that a major corporation has put in place,” said Jeanette Miller, associate director of the Delaware Environmental Institute. “It’s also an opportunity to network with DuPont employees who will be part of the gathering, and who have contributed to sustainable practices.”

Bailey will speak at 4 p.m., Thursday, May 2, in Room 102 of the Delaware Biotechnology Institute.

Refreshments will be served. All audience members will receive a free DENIN bag and refillable water bottle.

The DuPont visit is co-sponsored by the Delaware Environmental Institute and UD Energy Institute.

The event is free but participants should register at this website
