April 27: Drug Take-Back Day
National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day collection set at UD
9:34 a.m., April 26, 2013--The U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration's fourth National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day, during which community members are encouraged to turn in unused or expired medications and vitamins, will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, April 27, at the University of Delaware Public Safety building, 413 Academy St., in Newark.
There will be free parking at the Perkins Student Center garage for drop off of unused, unwanted or expired medication -- pills, vitamins, liquids, ointments, syringes and pet medications, but no aerosols or inhalants.

University of Delaware graduates planning to attend Alumni Weekend are encouraged to register for the annual Blue Hen 5K walk and run, which will be held Sunday morning, June 5.
June 6-9: Food and culture series
The 20th annual June Lecture Series at the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at UD in Wilmington will be held June 6-9. Titled 'June a la Carte,' this year's program focuses on great political documents, feminism, world politics and a Newark cuisine sampler.
