April 27: DASEF Family Day

Delaware AeroSpace Education Foundation sets Planet Earth family day


2:29 p.m., April 23, 2013--The Delaware AeroSpace Education Foundation will hold a Planet Earth family day fundraising event from 1-4 p.m., Saturday, April 27, at the Environmental Outpost, 585 Big Oak Rd., in Smyrna.

The event will feature Earth and caterpillar walks, an inflatable life-size right whale, the Ronald McDonald Show, bird migration and rain forest displays, rocket launching, and the Wyland Clean Water Maze.

Oct. 8: Black Lives Matter

UD's Department of Black American Studies will present a lecture by James Braxton Peterson of Lehigh University on the Black Lives Matter movement at 7 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 8, in the Trabant University Center Theatre.

Oct. 9: Glow Night

Perkins Live will host a Glow Night event on Friday, Oct. 9.

Refreshments and food will be available. Cost is $5, with children 3 and younger admitted free of charge.
