Students for Justice in Palestine to screen '5 Broken Cameras'
8:45 a.m., April 15, 2013--Students for Justice in Palestine at the University of Delaware will hold a movie night featuring the acclaimed film 5 Broken Cameras from 7-9 p.m., Friday, April 19, in 130 Smith Hall.
Co-directed by Emad Burnat, a Palestinian, and Guy Davidi, an Israeli, the 2011 documentary film tells the story of a Palestinian villager, Emad Burnat.

University of Delaware graduates planning to attend Alumni Weekend are encouraged to register for the annual Blue Hen 5K walk and run, which will be held Sunday morning, June 5.
June 6-9: Food and culture series
The 20th annual June Lecture Series at the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at UD in Wilmington will be held June 6-9. Titled 'June a la Carte,' this year's program focuses on great political documents, feminism, world politics and a Newark cuisine sampler.
It was nominated for an Academy Award and won a Sundance Film Festival award.
