Students for Justice in Palestine to screen '5 Broken Cameras'

8:45 a.m., April 15, 2013--Students for Justice in Palestine at the University of Delaware will hold a movie night featuring the acclaimed film 5 Broken Cameras from 7-9 p.m., Friday, April 19, in 130 Smith Hall.

Co-directed by Emad Burnat, a Palestinian, and Guy Davidi, an Israeli, the 2011 documentary film tells the story of a Palestinian villager, Emad Burnat.

May 4: Education colloquium

The University of Delaware School of Education's spring colloquium series continues May 4 with a presentation from Steve Graham, who is Mary Emily Warner Professor in the Division of Leadership and Innovation in the Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College at Arizona State University.

May 5: Benefits of diversity

Scott Page, author of "The Difference," will speak May 5 at the University of Delaware about the benefits of diversity.

It was nominated for an Academy Award and won a Sundance Film Festival award.
