HD stock video
University Library offers high definition stock video footage
11:25 a.m., Sept. 8, 2011--The University of Delaware Library announces that the Student Multimedia Design Center now offers access to HD (high definition) stock video footage for use in creating multimedia programs. It is a video collection of “stock” video clips to be used in creating programs.
UD students, faculty and staff now have access to the Digital Juice VideoTraxx HD Collection, which contains over 1,200 high definition royalty-free video clips, including time lapse clips, in 41 different categories, including extreme sports, international and wildlife.

These clips may be imported into different video editing programs and are available as QuickTime movies (.mov files). There are additional applications available to convert these files into other formats.
Interested UD students, faculty and staff may ask at the Student Multimedia Design Center desk on the lower level of the Morris Library about gaining access to the network share containing the collection. There are five concurrent licenses available for each volume of the collection, which may be accessed on the workstations in the Student Multimedia Design Center.
