Events Stories

Through May 2: Art and Syria

A four-day event at UD will feature a Syrian artist illustrating how beauty has been shattered by conflict.

May 2: Send Silence Packing

Send Silence Packing, a nationally recognized public education exhibit of 1,100 backpacks representing the number of students who die by suicide every year, will be on display on the University of Delaware's Central Green from 9 a.m.-4 p.m., Monday, May 2.

This workshop covers the basics for researchers who are just starting to work on their family histories. It presents an overview of the types of records that contain genealogical information as well as research strategies for finding and recording this data. Participants will also learn how to search the online database Ancestry Library Edition for U.S. census records.
