Late night study locations for final examinations announced

1:21 p.m., May 10, 2012--Late night campus study locations available for use by University of Delaware students before and during spring semester final exams have been announced.

The locations include Daugherty Hall, the Trabant University Center Food Court, the Kirkwood Room in the Perkins Student Center and Morris Library and the Morris Library Commons.

2FA protects you

If you are using two-factor authentication (2FA), even if a hacker has your password, your information is probably safe.

The Morris Library is open as follows:

  • Sunday, May 13, opens at 11 a.m. and remains open 24 hours a day until Friday, May 18, when the Morris Library closes at 10 p.m.
  • Saturday, May 19, 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.
  • Sunday, May 20, opens at 11 a.m. and remains open 24 hours/day until Thursday, May 24,  when the Morris Library closes at 7 p.m.

The Morris Library Commons is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week until the last day of exams, closing at 7 p.m., Thursday, May 24. The commons offers wired and wireless Internet access, vending machines and restrooms, and is located adjacent to the Morris Library entrance.

The electronic library of the University of Delaware Library, which is available 24/7, provides access for faculty, students and staff to a rich array of online library resources including DELCAT, electronic reserves, databases, full-text information, electronic journals and newspapers, Guides to the Internet, the Institutional Repository, and much more.

Daugherty Hall in the Trabant University Center is open from:

  • 7 a.m.-2 a.m., Wednesday, May 16, through Friday, May 18.
  • 9 a.m.-2 a.m., Saturday and Sunday, May 19-20.
  • 7 a.m.-2 a.m., Monday through Wednesday, May 21-23. 
  • 7 a.m.-10 p.m., Thursday, May 24.

Trabant University Center Food Court will be open for study from:

  • 7:30 a.m. to midnight, Wednesday and Thursday, May 16-17, and Monday through Wednesday, May 21-23.
  • 7:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., Friday, May 18.
  • 9 a.m. to 10 p.m., Saturday and Sunday, May 19-20.
  • 7:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., Thursday, May 24.

The Kirkwood Room in the Perkins Student Center will be open for study from:

  • 7 a.m.-11:45 p.m., Wednesday through Friday, May 16- 18, and Monday through Wednesday, May 21-23.
  • 9 a.m.-11:45 p.m., Saturday and Sunday, May 19-20.
  • 7 a.m.-10 p.m., Thursday, May 24.

For an extra boost during extended hours of late-night study, the Trabant Food Court and the Morris Library Commons will offer complimentary snacks from 8- 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 16, on Thursday, May 17, and on Monday, May 21.
