TEXT SIZE

11:45 a.m., March 23, 2012--University of Delaware Police received a report from two female students who saw a naked man near Townsend and Worrilow halls around 10:15 p.m., Thursday, March 22.

They described him as a white male, around 30-40 years of age, with a semi-muscular build and short or no hair on his head.

According to UD Police, the incident may be related to five similar occurrences reported in the area last summer and fall. The individual has never made any threats to victims; he exposes himself and then flees.

UD Police have stepped up police presence in that area of the campus, and they encourage anyone who sees anything suspicious to contact them immediately at 302-831-2222. Students in the vicinity should also contact UD Police if they exit a building and see an adult male sitting alone in vehicle. Timely reporting of any incident will increase the likelihood that police will be successful in identifying and apprehending the suspect.
