If you are using two-factor authentication (2FA), even if a hacker has your password, your information is probably safe.

As a result of UD’s institutional membership, everyone on campus has access to AASHE’s online resources and opportunities for networking, information sharing, collaboration and professional development.

AASHE’s online Resource Center provides members with assessment tools, policy and program databases, best practices, campus profiles, how-to guides, reports, discussion forums and other resources.

AASHE holds or co-sponsors workshops, webinars and conference calls throughout the year, plus an annual conference that brings together every sector of higher education as well as business, government and nonprofit participants.

These professional development events offer opportunities to connect with colleagues at regional, national and international levels to pool resources. Members receive discounts on all AASHE events. A calendar provides links to upcoming events.

AASHE also provides ways for UD to promote its own sustainability efforts. The AASHE Bulletin informs over 10,000 subscribers about campus sustainability news, resources and opportunities. A member spotlight feature highlights efforts at individual campuses.

Those who have ideas for submissions can email the task force at ud-sustainability@udel.edu.

Additional member benefits include the following:

  • Subscriptions to AASHE Newsletters;
  • Access to AASHE’s Staff Blog and the Sustainability Officers Directory;
  • Discounts on the STARS Sustainability Tracking, Assessment and Rating System;
  • The chance to compete for any of AASHE’s professional awards; and
  • Eligibility to participate on AASHE’s committees, councils, working groups and board

A number of product and service discounts are also available to members courtesy of AASHE business and nonprofit groups.

Access to many of these privileges requires an individual membership account. To create one, go to create member account and complete the user profile using your campus email address. After you receive your password by email, go to the login page, enter your email address (username) and new password, and you will have access to all locked resources.

Units at UD are also now entitled to post the “AASHE Member” logo on websites. The logo may also be used on any signage, reports, brochures and publicity or display materials as long as the usage guidelines are followed.

If you have any questions about AASHE or benefits as a member, email info@aashe.org for more information or contact the UD Sustainability Task Force.
