Additionally, a future food donation campaign was announced for the fall semester. The BlueHensCAN effort will be held in cooperation with the Food Bank.
The names of UD employees who donated canned goods at the June event were placed in a drawing for a brand new iPad donated by the Office of Communications and Marketing and the winner was JoAlice Casapulla from Facilities and Auxiliary Services.
In an attempt to be good shepherds of the environment, UD also recycled 260 pounds and composted 619 pounds of waste from the event.
This was the fourth annual UDid It! employee appreciation picnic. The event is held to thank UD faculty and staff for their efforts throughout the academic year.
