Special summer discounts for faculty and staff at UD Bookstore

10:48 a.m., June 4, 2012--The University of Delaware Bookstore is celebrating summer with special discounts just for UD faculty and staff with valid UD ID. 

Starting Monday, June 4, faculty and staff can get 10 percent off general books, including Nook purchases, UD merchandise and apparel and drinks and items offered by the Blue Hen Café, which proudly serves Starbucks.

All UD faculty and staff members are invited to attend the annual UDid It! employee appreciation picnic, set from 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m., Monday, June 6, on The Green.

To make this deal even sweeter, the café discount will be 20 percent from June 4-Aug. 24. (Café items included are Starbucks drinks and café food; the sale does not include candy, chips, etc.) 

In addition, the Bookstore's frequent drink card (get nine punches and your 10th drink is free) will be double-punched between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m., Mondays through Fridays. Breakfast specials will be featured, and bounce back coupons will be given out in the afternoons for breakfast. 

To get these special promotions, customers must have their UD IDs, and the discount cannot be used in conjunction with other sales.
