Winter Commencement to be webcast Jan. 8
3:59 p.m., Jan. 5, 2012--The University of Delaware's Winter Commencement ceremony, scheduled at 2 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 8, at the Bob Carpenter Center, will be webcast live for those who are unable to attend.

Honorary degrees
Four distinguished individuals were recognized with honorary degrees at the University of Delaware's 163rd Commencement ceremonies.
Top grades
Three UD seniors were recognized for achieving the highest grade point index during Commencement ceremonies.
Winter Commencement is for students who complete their degree requirements in August and December.
Delivering the Commencement address will be UD alumnus and naturalist Robert McCracken Peck.
