Winter Commencement to be webcast Jan. 8
3:59 p.m., Jan. 5, 2012--The University of Delaware's Winter Commencement ceremony, scheduled at 2 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 8, at the Bob Carpenter Center, will be webcast live for those who are unable to attend.

A new EPSCoR
Delaware receives a five-year, $20 million Research Infrastructure Improvement grant from the National Science Foundation's EPSCoR program.
Judicial visit
U.S. Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor will visit UD in September to discuss her best-selling memoir with new freshmen.
Winter Commencement is for students who complete their degree requirements in August and December.
Delivering the Commencement address will be UD alumnus and naturalist Robert McCracken Peck.
