Calling all 2016 grads

UD's Photographic Services department is seeking graduates wearing their caps and gowns for a short photography session at 4 p.m., Wednesday, May 25, on the South Green.

The following questions will be addressed within the workshop:

  • How can more media be incorporated into teaching?
  • What films and videos are available for class viewing?
  • How can videos be checked out and scheduled for future use in my class?

The workshop will begin with a tour of the Film and Video Collection Department facilities, which include viewing carrels, a viewing room, the collections area and the Media Research Room.

Participants will be shown how to search the collection in DELCAT and WorldCat Local and will be given an online tour of the Film and Video website. (The workshop does not cover services and resources offered by the Student Multimedia Design Center.)

Both workshops will be presented by Meghann Matwichuk, associate librarian, Film and Video Collection Department, and both will be held in that department on the lower level of Morris Library.

The Wednesday, Feb. 8, workshop will be held from 2-3 p.m., and the Thursday, Feb. 9, workshop will be held from 9-10 a.m.

The workshop is available at no charge and is open to UD faculty, staff and students. Seating is limited, and registration is required and can be completed online.
