Dates, speakers announced for spring 2012 School of Nursing series
All lectures will take place on Wednesdays from 9-10 a.m. in Room 114 McDowell Hall.
Philly Flower Show
An interdisciplinary UD class and a registered student organization have joined hands to present an award-winning display at the Philadelphia Flower Show.
The Horn Program in Entrepreneurship has announced the availability of a startup adviser, on hand through May, to work with entrepreneurs in the UD community at no charge.
The lecture series consists of three events:
- Feb. 29“Health and Cognition in Older African Americans: The Role of Cardiovascular Risk Factors,” Regina Sims, assistant professor, School of Nursing.
- March 21“Working Effectively with People from Cultures Different from Yours,” Kelebogile Setiloane, associate professor, Department of Behavioral Health and Nutrition.
- April 18“Adolescents’ Thoughts About Teen Parenting,” Judith Herrman, associate professor, School of Nursing.
All lectures are free and open to the public.
