Dates, speakers announced for spring 2012 School of Nursing series
3:12 p.m., Feb. 10, 2012--The School of Nursing at the University of Delaware has announced dates and speakers for its spring lecture series.
All lectures will take place on Wednesdays from 9-10 a.m. in Room 114 McDowell Hall.

Inclusive and effusive
The first cohort in UD's Career and Life Studies Certificate program have completed their two-year program, designed to provide students with intellectual disabilities with academic and life skills instruction, while engaging in social activities on campus.
The lecture series consists of three events:
- Feb. 29“Health and Cognition in Older African Americans: The Role of Cardiovascular Risk Factors,” Regina Sims, assistant professor, School of Nursing.
- March 21“Working Effectively with People from Cultures Different from Yours,” Kelebogile Setiloane, associate professor, Department of Behavioral Health and Nutrition.
- April 18“Adolescents’ Thoughts About Teen Parenting,” Judith Herrman, associate professor, School of Nursing.
All lectures are free and open to the public.
