Dates, speakers announced for spring 2012 School of Nursing series
3:12 p.m., Feb. 10, 2012--The School of Nursing at the University of Delaware has announced dates and speakers for its spring lecture series.
All lectures will take place on Wednesdays from 9-10 a.m. in Room 114 McDowell Hall.

Honorary degrees
Four distinguished individuals were recognized with honorary degrees at the University of Delaware's 163rd Commencement ceremonies.
Top grades
Three UD seniors were recognized for achieving the highest grade point index during Commencement ceremonies.
The lecture series consists of three events:
- Feb. 29—“Health and Cognition in Older African Americans: The Role of Cardiovascular Risk Factors,” Regina Sims, assistant professor, School of Nursing.
- March 21—“Working Effectively with People from Cultures Different from Yours,” Kelebogile Setiloane, associate professor, Department of Behavioral Health and Nutrition.
- April 18—“Adolescents’ Thoughts About Teen Parenting,” Judith Herrman, associate professor, School of Nursing.
All lectures are free and open to the public.
