Confucius Institute at UD offers free classes to campus community
10:58 a.m., Feb. 8, 2012--The Confucius Institute at the University of Delaware is offering the campus community a variety of free classes this semester.
The classes provide opportunities for those who have wanted to learn the Chinese language or try their hand at Chinese calligraphy or brush painting, or even kung fu.

Classes being offered include:
• Chinese Level 1 -- Feb. 14-May 8, Tuesdays, 5:30-6:45 p.m., 326 Purnell Hall. Open to UD faculty and staff and their spouses.
• Chinese Level 2 -- Feb. 13-May 7, Mondays, 5:30-6:45 p.m., 326 Purnell Hall. Open to UD faculty and staff and their spouses.
• Chinese Calligraphy and Brush Painting -- Feb. 15-May 9, Wednesdays, 5:30-6:45 p.m., 206 Penny Hall. Open to UD faculty and staff and their spouses.
• Kung fu -- Feb. 23-May 10, Thursdays, 4-5 p.m., Pearson Hall gymnasium. Open to all UD students.
