Late-night study locations for final exams announced

10:03 a.m., Dec. 7, 2011--Late-night campus study locations available for use by University of Delaware students before and during fall semester 2011 final exams have been announced.

Locations include Daugherty Hall, the Trabant University Center Food Court, Multipurpose Room A in the Trabant University Center, the Kirkwood Room in the Perkins Student Center and Morris Library and the Morris Library Commons.

2FA protects you

If you are using two-factor authentication (2FA), even if a hacker has your password, your information is probably safe.

The Morris Library will be open as follows:

  • Sunday, Dec. 4, opens at 11 a.m. and remains open 24 hours/day until Friday, Dec. 9, when the Morris Library closes at 10 p.m.;
  • Saturday, Dec. 10, 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.;
  • Sunday, Dec. 11, opens at 11 a.m. and remains open 24 hours a day until Friday, Dec. 16, when the Morris Library closes at 7 p.m.

Morris Library Commons is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week until the last day of exams, closing at 7 p.m., Friday, Dec. 16.  The commons offers wired and wireless Internet access, vending machines and restrooms and is located adjacent to the Morris Library entrance.

The electronic library of the University of Delaware Library, which is available 24/7, provides access for faculty, students and staff of the University of Delaware to a rich array of online library resources including DELCAT, electronic reserves, databases, full-text information, electronic journals and newspapers, Guides to the Internet, the Institutional Repository, and much more.

Daugherty Hall in the Trabant University Center is open from:

  • 7 a.m.-2 a.m., Thursday and Friday, Dec. 8, and Dec. 9; 
  • 9 a.m.-2 a.m., Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 10, and Dec. 11;
  • 7 a.m.-2 a.m., Monday through Thursday, Dec. 12-15; and 
  • 7 a.m.-10 p.m., Friday, Dec. 16.

Multipurpose Room A in the Trabant University Center is open from:

  • 9 a.m.-2 a.m., Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 10 and Dec. 11; and
  • 7 a.m.-2 a.m., Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, Dec. 12-14. 
  • Not available as a study location on Thursday or Friday, Dec. 8 and Dec. 9, or Thursday or Friday, Dec. 15 and Dec. 16.

The Trabant University Center Food Court will be open for study from:

  • 7:30 a.m. to midnight, Thursday and Friday, Dec. 8 and Dec. 9, and Tuesday and Wednesday, Dec. 13 and Dec. 14;
  • 7:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 10;
  • 9 a.m. to 10 p.m., Sunday and Monday, Dec. 11 and Dec. 12; and
  • 7:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., Thursday and Friday, Dec. 15 and Dec. 16.

The Kirkwood Room in the Perkins Student Center will be open for study from:

  • 7 a.m.-11:45 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, Dec. 8 and Dec. 9, and Monday through Thursday, Dec. 12-15; and
  • 9 a.m.-11:45 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 10 and Dec. 11.
  • Not available as a study location on Friday, Dec. 16.

For an extra boost during extended hours of late-night study, the Trabant University Center Food Court and the Morris Library Commons will offer complimentary snacks from 9-10 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 8, on Monday, Dec. 12, on Tuesday, Dec. 13, and on Wednesday, Dec. 14.
