Nominations open for John Warren Excellence in Leadership and Service Award
8:58 a.m., April 4, 2012--The University of Delaware has announced the opening of nominations for the inaugural John Warren Excellence in Leadership and Service Award. The award recognizes significant accomplishments by supervisory staff in the areas of leadership and service.
“John's record of outstanding leadership and service is a hallmark for future generations of leaders at the University,” says Jennifer (J.J.) Davis, vice president for finance and administration. “This award ensures that his legacy and commitment to excellence will long endure.”

Employees are encouraged to nominate an outstanding supervisor who has achieved significant accomplishments over the previous academic year. Only supervisory staff are eligible for nomination.
Award winners will receive a symbol of appreciation and a $1,000 monetary gift (up to two such award winners may be selected each year).
Nominations are due by May 1, and this year’s winners will be announced at the fourth annual UDid It! employee appreciation picnic on Monday, June 4.
