April 24: Symphonic Band
University Symphonic Band to perform in Puglisi Orchestra Hall
8:54 a.m., April 17, 2012--The University of Delaware Symphonic Band will perform at 8 p.m., Tuesday, April 24, in the Puglisi Orchestra Hall of the Roselle Center for the Arts.
Heidi Sarver will direct. The program will include Symphonic Dance No. 3 Fiesta by Clifton Williams; Symphonic Prelude by Mark Camphouse; The Seventh Seal by W. Francis McBeth; the Finale to Symphony No. 3 by Gustav Mahler; Sussex Mummer's Christmas Carol by Percy Grainger; and Ballet Sacra by David Holsinger.

The campus community is invited to attend the inaugural Adelante: Latino-Hispanic Graduation Celebration, sponsored by UD's Center for Black Culture, at 4 p.m., Friday, May 24.
Through June 3: 'Emancipation'
The UD Library has announced a new exhibition titled "Emancipation and Its Legacies," which will be on view in the Lincoln Exhibit Case in the Morris Library through Monday, June 3.
Tickets cost $12 for adults, $8 for senior adults and $3 for students, and will be available at the door the evening of the performance.
