“Our goal is to make it easy and fun to engage in healthy behaviors at work,” said Jennifer (J.J.) Davis, vice president for finance and administration. “Faculty and staff at UD work hard every day to deliver excellence to our students. Wellness programs help support their professional and personal success.”
Participants have the opportunity to engage in a virtual world tour, “visiting” different countries each week. Noontime energizer sessions feature international activities such as taiji quan, yoga and Zumba. Wellness workshops include bicycle commuting, creating authentic happiness and tips for healthy eating. Participants are also tracking their weight management goals by attending optional weekly weigh-ins at various locations on campus.
Employees have until June 30 to use their Wellness Dollars for this fiscal year. For more information about program offerings and services, visit HealthyU or call 831-8388.
