April 15: NOTU5 performance

UD's NOTU5 graduate woodwind quintet to perform in Gore Recital Hall

1:51 p.m., April 9, 2012--The University of Delaware's NOTU5 graduate woodwind quintet will perform a free concert at 12:30 p.m., Sunday, April 15, in the Gore Recital Hall of the Roselle Center for the Arts.

The quintet includes Tara Rozanski on flute, Patrick Keller on oboe, Tierney O'Brien on clarinet, Daniel Rocha on horn and Nora McDonnell on bassoon.

Richard Davison, University of Delaware professor emeritus of English, will discuss "Actors on Acting" during a presentation at 10:30 a.m., Monday, Sept. 22, at the Newark Senior Center.

Sept. 22: 'Disabled Upon Arrival'

Jay Dolmage, associate professor at the University of Waterloo in Ontario, Canada, will present a talk titled "Disabled Upon Arrival: Technologies of Disablement and Racialization at the Border" at 3:30 p.m., Monday, Sept. 22, in 127 Memorial Hall.

The concert will feature works by Gunther Schuller, John Harbison, George Rochberg and Geoffrey Bush.
