Quick study

New LearnIT session format: fast and informative

TEXT SIZE

4:20 p.m., April 20, 2012--UD Information Technologies (IT) is now offering 30-minute, hands-on review sessions that are similar to the LearnIT Express sessions but slightly longer. These sessions will focus on helpful, yet frequently overlooked, features of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint that can save users time and effort.

Participants have the option to attend sessions in Smith Hall, participate remotely or view streamed videos online at their convenience. These sessions will not only provide clients with time-saving tips they can use right now, but they will also serve as preparation for more advanced sessions that will be offered this summer.

FYI Stories

App for safety

UD now has a smartphone safety app that helps prevent crime and enables police better respond to incidents, making students even safer while at school.

Catering update

UD's policy on the use of external catering services on campus has been changed to provide departments with additional options.

Here’s more about what you can expect:

  • A fast-paced overview with helpful tips.
  • The choice to attend at the training facility in 010 Smith Hall or view the session remotely.
  • Recordings of each session for those who are unable to attend or would like to re-watch.

The first session is scheduled for Wednesday, April 25, and the topic is Microsoft Excel. You can watch a short recording of many of the topics we’ll cover.

Register to participate in the hands-on version of the 30-minute Excel review session, held in 010 Smith Hall. The registration page also links to dates for the other Excel review sessions.
