8:31 a.m., Sept. 27, 2010----The University of Delaware School of Nursing in the College of Health Sciences has announced its fall 2010 research lecture series, with presentations on Wednesdays, Oct. 6, Oct. 27 and Nov. 17.

All of the lectures will be held from 12:20-1:20 p.m. in Room 114 of McDowell Hall.

Oct. 6 -- The first lecture in the series will be by Kathleen Matt, dean of the College of Health Sciences. She will discuss “Linkages between Stress and Disease: A Neuroendocrine Perspective.”

Oct. 27 -- Paula Klemm, assistant director of the School of Nursing and professor of nursing, will speak on “Qualitative Research: Investigating the Forest AND the Trees.”

Nov. 17 -- Amy Johnson, professor of nursing, will discuss “NICU Research: Improving Outcome One Study at a Time.”
