The synthetic Field Turf surfaces, which feature sports lighting for nighttime use, are configured for use in multiple sports and will be heavily used by both the intramural and club sports programs.

The project was undertaken by UD Athletics and Recreation Services to enhance recreational opportunities for the campus community, and particularly for students.

For questions, scheduling and availability, contact Staci Truitt in Recreation Services at [staci@udel.edu] or 831-3210.

The Frazer Field project was completed by University Facilities. The project consisted of replacing a portion of the existing natural playing surface to approximately 250,000 square feet of synthetic Field Turf.

Subsurface drainage was installed to meet all city requirements for stormwater management, and sports lighting was installed.
