10:20 a.m., Oct. 18, 2010----On Monday, Nov. 8, the University of Delaware will host a graduate fair from 4 p.m.-8 p.m. in the Multipurpose Room of the Trabant University Center. Anyone considering graduate school, at UD or elsewhere, will benefit from this event.
The fair will feature informational tables for many UD graduate programs. Prospective students will have the opportunity to speak to program staff and students and get their questions answered.
In addition, panel discussions on critical topics will offer helpful information for both current graduate students and those thinking of attending graduate school, whether full- or part-time. Attendees can learn what graduate student life is like, explore career development opportunities for graduate students, and get insights from graduate program directors on getting in to grad school and succeeding there. The final panel will discuss balancing school, work and personal life.
More information, including a list of participating programs, is available online.
This event is free; online registration is requested and is available at the website.
The UD Graduate Fair is sponsored by the Graduate Student Senate, the Office of the Provost, the Office of Graduate and Professional Education, and the Division of Professional and Continuing Studies.
