8:52 a.m., Nov. 9, 2010----The Resident Student Association at the University of Delaware has announced its inaugural RSA Spirit Week, to be held Nov. 15-19.
A highlight of the event will be a door decorating contest. Students in UD residence halls are encouraged to be creative, have fun and show the true spirit of a Blue Hen.
The deadline for entry is 4 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 12. Registration can be completed online.

RSA Spirit Week activities include:
Monday, Nov. 15 -- Complex Spirit Day. Students should check with residence hall leaders about the event, which is being organized by individual complex community councils.
Tuesday, Nov. 16 -- Temporary Tattoo Tuesday. Students can visit Perkins Student Center or the Rodney Commons from noon to 2 p.m. for temporary tattoos.
Wednesday, Nov. 17 -- Wiki Race. See if you are the fasted at finding information. The race will be held from 1-2 p.m. at the Smith Hall Computing Lab, from 2-3 p.m. at the Harrington Computer Lab and from 3-4 p.m. at Dickinson. A registration form will be available at the RSA Spirit Week website.
Thursday, Nov. 18 -- Hot Chocolate Huts. The weather is turning chilly and nothing tastes better than hot chocolate. Hot chocolate huts will be offered by RSA from 11 a.m. to noon on East Campus, near Lane Hall, and from 2-3 p.m. at the Laird Campus bridge. To flavor the hot chocolate, there will be peppermint sticks, marshmallows and whipped cream.
Friday, Nov. 19 -- Quidditch Game. The broom-based sport from the Harry Potter series will be featured from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on fields 1 and 2 at Frazer Field, near the Carpenter Sports Building. To sign up, send email to [firstname.lastname@example.org] by midnight, Wednesday, Nov. 17. Those who don't plan to play are encouraged to come out and cheer.
