9:53 a.m., May 25, 2011--The University of Delaware campus community is invited to take a fresh look at Sakai@UD this summer.

On Wednesday, June 8, bring your questions to Room 010 Smith Hall between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. IT-Client Support and Services staff will help you discover new ways to use the features of this learning management system that best fit your pedagogical goals.

FYI Stories

Two-factor authentication

Since two-factor authentication provides more security than a simple password, UD IT recommends that it be used whenever it's offered.

Faculty climate survey

The NSF ADVANCE grant team at UD has shared the results of a faculty climate survey on topics including promotion and tenure, evaluation, merit, workload, family-friendly policies, mentoring, and career satisfaction.

Sessions at 9:30 a.m., 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. will provide an overview of Sakai@UD version 2.8 and highlight new features. No registration is required and light refreshments will be served.

Note that Sakai@UD will be unavailable on Tuesday, May 31, while the new version is being installed. All sites and content currently in Sakai@UD will be upgraded to the new version without any change.
