12:10 p.m., Jan. 11, 2011----The University of Delaware Research Office will host a winter conference for UD research administrators on Thursday, Jan. 27, at Clayton Hall Conference Center.
The conference will feature four workshops: interdisciplinary research, public service/state contracting, closeout from the departmental perspective, and salary obligations with the Labor Allocation Module and UDataGlance.
The topics were selected based on feedback from participants at the Research Office's July conference. Each workshop will be offered twice -- once in the morning and once in the afternoon.
Additionally, two special activities will be offered, including an ASK-IT table. Procurement staff will answer questions on two new policies -- the travel policy 3-7 and the credit card policy 5-22, which will both be effective Feb. 1.
Participants can register online at this address. The registration deadline is Jan. 18.
For more information, see the link on the registration website for the conference program with descriptions of the workshops.
If you have questions or suggestions for the conference, please contact Kate Coleman, training coordinator in the Research Office, at [firstname.lastname@example.org] or 302-831-7089.
