Apple provides many of the resources educators need to create and support a transformative learning experience with reliable, cost-effective hardware, built-in digital authoring and collaboration tools, personal learning solutions, a rich content repository, infrastructure and management products, plus professional development.

Information Technologies Client Support & Services (IT-CS&S) will be sponsoring an iPad for education training session on Tuesday, Feb. 1, in Room 130 Smith Hall. The session will consist of two 90-minute segments.

Those who plan to participate can register for the morning segment, afternoon segment or both segments.

Learning with iPad

This session will be held from 10:30 a.m.-noon.

Jon C. Landis, Apple development executive, will review applications specific to teaching and learning, provide an overview of Apple's approach to mobility and address questions regarding pedagogy and mobility.

Lunch

Lunch provided by Apple from noon-1 p.m.

IOS and Apple mobile learning solutions

This session will be held from 1-2:30 p.m.

Michael Wolk, senior systems engineer, will present an overview of Apple's mobile devices and review the IOS as it relates to enterprise, instruction and support.
