John Rodker's Ovid Press: A Bibliographic History, published by Oak Knoll Press, deals with such authors as T. S. Eliot, James Joyce and Ezra Pound.

The reception will be held from 5-7 p.m., Monday, Jan. 24, in the Morris Room of the fifth floor of the Grolier Club, 47 East 60th St.

Cloud, who earned his Ph.D. in English at UD in 2005, worked as research assistant in the Mark Samuels Lasner Collection in the University of Delaware Library, and he has been professionally active in various bibliographical organizations, including the American Printing History Association.

Cloud's doctoral dissertation on Rodker led to the book and also to his position as a reference and instructional librarian in Mandeville Special Collections at the University of California, San Diego from 2005 to 2007.

Since then he has held positions in the Rare Book and Manuscript Library, Columbia University, where he is currently curator of literature. He is also a lecturer in English and comparative literature at Columbia, where he teaches bibliography and the history of the book.
